Newcomer Convention Security
Let me see if I can get through all this in the few minutes before work. Also read as holy crap life please slow down for just five minutes please.
Anyway.
Lee Chaolan/Violet Systems is running/coordinating/whatever the upcoming Newcomer Business Convention this weekend! Yay! And we all know an event of this type is going to draw something of protests or other negative reactions. Therefore, it's necessary to have some sort of event security to keep things running as smoothly as possible. And when you have a military genius in your employ, that's who you ask to coordinate things.
Well, Sephiroth may be that military genius, but I am an overworked, stressed thing who has to hiatus over the dates of the convention because of a friend's wedding.
So. Sephiroth would have made a call to the Network on Monday asking for those interested in working security for this event; that post will go up as backdated as soon as I finish writing this one (edit: post is here). All interested parties are encouraged to comment there, but I obviously won't have the time to tag out all the interactions before this weekend (though for anyone who doesn't mind backtags, I will get to them when I return home from the wedding). So here is an ooc post for quicker communication/setup/whathaveyou. Hit up any questions here and I will try to do my best to answer them! I will also refer you to Hibi as well for the days I am not here, because Lee is in charge of the convention anyway and Sephiroth does have to defer at least a little bit to his wishesfor now.

When will my character be working? At any point during the convention. Security would be set in rotating shifts, and it is possible to pull a shift with another character. But you won't be working the whole time, so there will be a chance to enjoy the convention itself too.
Will my character be paid? There probably will be a small stipend for working the event, yes. Still working on those details.
Is there a uniform? Yes. Characters will be wearing black fitted t-shirts with "SECURITY" in bold letters across the back, and a smaller logo on the left chest. The logo will be either that of Violet Systems or the NPP (or a logo for the convention itself, if one was designed). Under the logo will be the word "SECURITY" again.
Can my character cause trouble? As hired security, you're in charge of stopping trouble. But characters who want to cause (or try to cause) trouble are welcome too! This post can be used as ooc planning for those types of shenanigans if you so choose.
I will be here late tonight, and for a few minutes tomorrow before I leave for the wedding, to answer whatever questions I can!
