Ah!! Not a problem; I've been a right flake recently anyway, what with Uni finishing and internet being cut off etc.
I am not entirely sure that Eponine would be very good with children; she barely even acknowledges her own siblings... but if there was money in it for her, she might try a bit harder. (oh gosh; she's already looked after Yosuke once - and look where that one ended up, bless the poor chap). Might be a fun log though - how old are these children? Because Eponine and babies? :S
She'd definitely get on with Mr Gold, I think, and would happily turn anything she got her grubby little fingers on over to him - IF he paid her well. She's generally got her ear to the ground, and will quite happily pass on any bits of information she happens across to him. Actually, she's got a ring that Loki gave her that she needs to pawn, so she might have to pay Mr. Gold a visit soon.
Eponine's a work-a-holic because she's terrified that Alan and Eric will chuck her out and no one else will want her and she'll end up on the streets, and so she is quite willing to work as many hours as she's awake to get as much money as she can!
