NELL IS A BAD ASS LADY. She's another one Lisbeth has so much respect for this lady because she's at the top of the military in her world. Coming from a world where there's a glass ceiling reinforced with steel, Nell is the person Lisbeth kind of wants to be. She's sure she has alot of control, which Lisbeth doesn't have in certain respects of her life like her anger.

JUBES. They've had somewhat limited interaction, but he definitely thinks a lot of her. He's seen how strong of a person she is, and has a certain level of respect for her as someone who took the time to show him around again, despite his not-amnesia. He definitely appreciates her filling him in on things around the Port, and still feels guilty for the lack of memories of their friendship. BUT he'd like to get to know her more so they can get back to that point!

Ellen. Pseudo-mother. Sam looks up to Ellen as a wicked awesome hunter, and came to rely on her as a mother figure. Seeing Ellen and Jo makes Sam a little less said for the relationship he never really got to have growing up, and he loves her like family. She's always been there to help them out, and she's one of the people whose advice he really values the most.

Jesse thinks Joe is a pretty awesome dude! Not someone he would open up to emotionally - at least, not yet - but all laid-back and easy to be around and not judgmental. Jesse likes people who don't judge him, especially when they've heard him say some pretty shady things like Joe has. He feels a kinship with Joe, just a sense that they have similar views and experiences, even if they haven't talked much about it. He gets the sense that, like him, Joe's willing to do the dirty work when it comes to protecting the Newcomer community. So he admires that. But he can't help feeling like he's corrupting Joe a little when they discuss violent matters... Maybe it's the age difference.

Haha Ino totally side-eyed that rehab post hard, and decided ignoring it would save her from having to deal with it. She likes Jesse, but that was just ... whoa. Unexpected. One day she'll confront it, but as long as he's getting help, she'll leave him alone.

They aren't very close, but so far, Ino doesn't mind him. He's obviously in love with his girlfriend, Lisbeth, and she finds that adorable. Is he a secret hopeless romantic, longing for that out-of-this-world love (no pun intended) and overjoyed that he finally found it? Who knows. All Ino knows is she most likely has a good repeat customer who could probably help her out if she needed it.

Overall, Jesse seems alright - not perfect, but nobody is here. Everyone has their issues (some moreso than others) and she'll try to help him in any way she can, though once he's out of rehab she isn't sure if there's anything she can do. Shopping trips wouldn't really do anything about that, would they....

Jesse reminds Sam a lot of himself. Naturally. So, he feels responsible for looking out for the kid, and is secretly (or not) worried about him a lot of the time. Though he doesn't remember Jesse from home, he has the general information, and of course, their interactions from the Port. Sam sees a certain strength in Jesse that he finds incredible; he's dealt with angels, demons, what-have-you. And despite all the things he's had in his life, the things he's given up, he's still a strong kid. And that's something really amazing.

Nill really admired Allen the first time he was here. He helped her a lot, despite them not actually talking very often (they literally only met in person twice), but he was always a strong person, even when he was probably going through a lot. Because of this, despite them not talking frequently, Nill thought of Allen as a very good friend. Nill generally loves people (platonically) pretty easily, and she definitely loved Allen.

Therein lies the problems she's kind of having with the current Allen. She thought it would be for the best if she pretended she hadn't known him before; that somehow he'd be safer that way, and things wouldn't be too awkward between them. She didn't want him to think that she was trying to make him into a person that he wasn't, so she tried to avoid the situation entirely. This didn't really work out, though!! Because she's gotten way too 'talkative' lately and said some really obvious things that she definitely should not have said.

And Allen scared the hell out of her. For all the awful things that've happened to her and that she's seen, she's never literally been covered in the blood of someone she cares about, and she's never had to try to keep someone from bleeding out. That whole night had her all over the place, because it's been so long since it felt like she did something right, or could actually do something, and Allen made her feel that way. But he also made her realize that she's definitely been projecting on him too much, and she hates that she's been doing that, while also wishing that they were actually closer and that she could accomplish that somehow. She'd be pretty disheartened if she knew that Allen didn't really think of her as a friend.

She's also worried about that older wound of his - mostly if he's really okay, and what on earth was happening in his own world that he got run through by someone? Seriously, Allen, what the shit. She doesn't really know how to ask about any of that though, because she's pretending not to be a full-time telepath. Whoops.

No, but seriously, she was so glad he showed up when he did. Alone, she probably would have been screwed against that ... thing, whatever it was. He's a really nice guy and she likes him; polite, a capable fighter, and nothing outwardly creepy or unusual about him (besides the arm).

From that one meeting, Ino likes him. They should ... do something together sometime haha
