I've pretty much gushed Riku's feelings about Roxas on the last meme but here's a little more.

Riku's glad to see that Roxas has grown so much. He's always worried that it's left the kid hardened to life but he can still see him smiling and happy, and that's enough for him, frankly. With the recent revelation about hearts and Nobodies, Riku feels like Roxas had even less of a chance at normalcy and kindness and that it just wasn't fair. Frankly, he hates himself because of this revelation, because Roxas should have been allowed to be free no matter what, but ESPECIALLY if he had a heart of his own.

Riku worries that MX will eventually go after Roxas to put another mark on him and to take him as his own, and he refuses to let that happen.

Hawke likes Mercy, and notes that she is very... unrevealing about herself. He is happy that she took the time to help him out of a tight spot when he was drunk and wants to quiz her about things that have happened here so far.

He's slightly wary of a vibe he gets from her, but will probably get over that in time. He basically will probably chat friendly to her whilst trying to get more information out of her about Fenris and Anders's lives here.

Pretty much, pig. Pretty much.

Joe has grown steadily, enough for Riku to take notice and to be pretty proud of the kid. Joe's still a little naive and broken in some ways and he knows that he can't fix him. He can't be his friend and his other self. It's just too awkward. It's also harder for him to juggle the kids because he feels like if he's too close to them, he'll be infringing on Joe's friendships, and that's not fair.

So, things are better between them but will never be perfect. I imagine Riku feels a lot of shame right now because of Replica too and because he did so many terrible things. He almost feels like he's validated Joe's hatred of him.

Complete and other disdain and loathing.

Xigbar has always been "that guy" to keep an eye on but not to worry about. But with the big reveal, Riku has learned just how horrible of a person and how dangerous he is. To that end, Riku will always be on guard with Xigbar. He's gotten close enough to touch his heart and try to tear it asunder to reach that darkness inside, and Riku is terrified that he'll do it again. He'll never show that fear and he would, frankly, rather die than be taken over again by the darkness...but until Xigbar and/or MX disappear, he'll never let his guard down or pass them over again.

Bitty girl is so bitty and he worries about her. With the new reveal, Riku feels even worse about what's happened to her and he'll probably end up doing his best to make it up to her in the following weeks and months. ;w;

Riku is so, so glad to have Aslan around. He might just have broken apart after the spoiler!log if he hadn't been there. He also would have probably died out in the darkness with nowhere to go. Aslan's been there to help Riku along when no one else has, when he's been too busy caring for other people and not having time for himself and his own feelings.

With him, he can be a little selfish. He can think about what's good for HIM instead of just for the group. And he's so, so grateful to have a father figure in the Port to keep him in line.

HATE.

Utter, terrible, disgusting hate that balls itself into his heart and stays there. MX stokes the darkness in his heart in more ways than one, despite his resistances, and he hates what the man has done to his friends and what he can possibly do to them another time. He doesn't believe he's of any use to MX beyond that of another corpse, and BOY IS HE WRONG. He'll go down fighting next time because he refuses to run from this guy any longer.

Also, when he canon updates, he'll be gloating about a particular battle with his younger self and how he beat him. :T

It sounds weird doesn't it? To hear that from someone. Well let me tell you, I didn't expect to be saying it about a man like you. And no, I don't mean a mage. I mean an unbelievable hero.

It sounds sappy and wrong. But as I write these words I can't help but think of all you've done, for Fereldan, for me, and for everyone that has ever passed through the doors of your clinic. I love your insatiable spirit. Yours, and Justices. I admire your tenacity, your ability to never give anything up and I don't know how many times I will write this. But I love you.

And I can't tell you how... torn our situation makes me feel. I feel as though a knife with seventeen teeth has been punched into my heart and twisted the entire way round. The fact that you don't even have an inkling of who I am tore through my soul, and the tear will be there for a long time. But I want you to know I don't resent you.

If I knew I had a future with you... the you you are now, I would wait patiently forever. But... You are not the man I know, and while you are still incredibly handsome and you make my toes curl and my spine shudder with thoughts that we could be together, I know that it would be unfair to ask you to do that. Especially as you have your own troubles here.

If you were ever to change your mind, Know I would come to you in a heartbeat. Well, we all know the realistic implication of that promise is not going to be the actuality. But... if I have not healed my broken heart, Know that I will always return to you.

Axel is both friend and foe, someone to trust and someone to be wary of. Of course, when it comes to the keybitties, everything is totally cool and there's no worries at all. But Riku also knows that Axel can turn on his allies at any moment if it means keeping his friends safe, and so he offers himself as both a check and a sword for Axel; he'll either keep him from doing something stupid or he'll cut him down to prevent anything from happening.

But he can't deny that there's something there for him, some trust he can't throw away. Axel is loyal until the end to certain people and Riku also trusts that Axel won't judge him too harshly for the darker thoughts that cross his mind. They have a thin understanding that he doesn't want to ruin.

Claire thinks it's destiny that he and Axel both have red hair... the world created Axel with flaming hair so that they would find each other like ships in the ocean...

Okay no seriously Axel is great. Claire is easy-going in how he acts with new people and takes to them pretty quickly. But the way he enjoys Axel's company and sees him as a kindred spirit is more active than that usual carefreeness. From the second Axel reacted to some loser falling out of his air vent like it was nbd Claire felt an affinity for him. He doesn't really go about seeking people's approval ~~except in his fiancée's case~~ but gosh he wants to get on with Axel. And in his ever-confident-and-optimistic way he assumes they're going to end up being tight and the world will balance out and he'll be there when Axel needs to fall through an air vent one day and they'll ride off into the sunset together like best bros. He's also amused by Axel's dramatics, without realising that when they talk together they must look like crazy Italian stereotypes with all their hand gestures. And he loves the movie metaphors, that's a surefire way to reach Claire on a wavelength he's well tuned to!

Obviously hearing that someone he was counting on being buddies with got hurt because of his actions is going to be a blow. Axel will just have to deal with this doggedly loyal weirdo trying to make it up to him. With something a little stronger than a beer this time. Say, Axel doesn't need any buildings breaking into, does he?

Bolin is fun and engaging and easy to just get along with and shoot the crap with. He seems like a sweet kid, if sheltered. If Claire found out he was a street orphan he'd be completely thrown for once in his estimations. :| What kind of hardened urchin are you supposed to be.

After finding out that Bolin was in the hunt he'll be feeling protective of him and would be defensive of him if he was threatened again. It's his business to avenge the hunted and make sure it doesn't happen again and Bolin has sort of fallen under an umbrella of vague-possessiveness through being an acquaintance and being a hunt victim. Also he's gotta be kept alive in order to tell funny stories.

BESIDES THE OUTRAGE OF HIM ATTACKING ROXAS?

Riku will admire him, probably, just as he's admired Terra. And he'll be pleased to see that the trio of older kids have reunited with their Master and father-figure. He's not close to Terra at all because he's distanced himself out of shame, but he can definitely see similar motivations and morals in the both of them. (Terra, upon arriving in the Port, tried to kill Riku because he had darkness in his heart that was similar to Xehanort's.)

When he's eventually canon updated, he'll be proud to work at his side, though he'll be wary and uncertain at first.

He likes Dani. She has a heart of gold and doesn't mind a gentle teasing from Hawke which wins you big bonus points. Even though their interactions have been brief, he likes her and definitely wants to be her friend.

When it comes down to her looks? Hawke would definitely give her more than a second glance. She's an incredibly beautiful girl. Hawke however, also admires her compassion. It's not everyday you find a person who is willing to sit with a drunk and agree with them. She was happy to listen to Hawkes problems and work through them with him.

ITS SO HARD TO TLDR WITH NON CANON MATES BECAUSE HAWKE IS SO NEW /le sob le sob le sob. I also suck at TLDR.

Anders reminds Dani a lot of...well, herself from before she met Sara. Kind of selfish, flirty, worrying about a few of the simple and petty things in life. However, Anders has plenty of genuine worries that he only allows to slip out from time to time and honestly, it breaks her heart to hear them because there's so little she can do to help him here or back in Thedas.

That being said, she does have a crush on him and likes to flirt with him because he's already about 100x better than most of the boys she's dated. The last guy she dated turned out to be a Templar who choked her and then bashed her friend's face into a mirror. :/

ANYWAY. She considers Anders a friend and someone she can hopefully trust, which is definitely saying something since she hasn't told anyone about what she is back home. She's loyal to her friends which means, of course, that she'll keep an eye out for him and she won't let anyone hurt him if it's in her power.

And she probably would have wanted to pursue something with him if Hawke hadn't mentioned that they were together because...yeah, she doesn't want to get between something like that.

Tonygaw's arrogance and position and suityness plonked him roughly in the same category of social interaction as capos Claire had to deal with back home, but with the twist of him being his fiancée's boss. That didn't complicate things much at first since he could just treat Tony like basically any other gangster he'd done business with and be vaguely polite to despite having an arrogance to match Tony's, and even overshadow it in some ways.

Usually, however, he'd only have to do business with individuals like that for a few weeks at the most before moving on to new contracts, so the ongoing interaction began to grate and everything kind of dissolved into the current dick-comparing state of affairs around the time of the poker match, I think. To be honest Claire would probably have decked him on sight after the whole Kaiji-going-home thing if it weren't for the worry of endangering Chane's position (he probably would feel like he'd have to ask her permission to punch her boss first insert Leonidas.gif here). He's not really one to let negative feelings simmer, he vents them and then moves on. Under the circumstances he'll be looking for some way to put Tonegawa in his place definitively.

Warsman is a ~~big ol' cutie~~ real classy gent. He's a little overly serious though, Claire would like to see him let loose ~~on the balalaika~~ sometime. He obviously cares very strongly about his work and his friends which gets him major brownie points in Claire's book. I wish I could tl;dr about how Claire sees him as his competition/rival in the tournament but obviously I haven't tagged the log or anything sob. I hate my laptop. I want to tag onto those but if it's too late just ignore me. ;A; Speculatively I think Claire would give it a lot of friendly bravado and teasing - but nothing about Warsy's size or appearance, he'd work out that that was below the belt. He wants them to come out friends at the end of the day after all.

Dani really likes Willow. She reminds her of Finch, her girlfriend back home. She's smart and funny, quirky, compassionate and loyal. They're all attractive qualities and that's why she has a little crush on her, but they're also things Dani values in a friend and in a person. Willow is also a strong person and isn't afraid to speak her mind. She admires that too.

Now that Willow's let on a little bit more about herself, Dani's come to trust her and wants to have a better friendship with her, hopefully with something more open about who they are. Willow will probably be the first one to hear about Dani and the Angelus, which is a big step for her.

So, besides that, Willow has a friend in Dani and a loyal sword that will protect her if anything should happen. She cares about her too much to let anything happen to her.

Well, you've made quite the impression on Willow. When you met way back when she first got here, you most definitely caught her eye. She decided to be brave and offer a share of her fries and was it worth it? Yes. Yes it was. She was so happy to set that spark in motion because BOY did it set a spark in motion for her.

She can't help but grin everytime you pop up on the NV and she loves how sweet and compassionate you are. Plus, the fact that you're a gorgeous woman with a brighter personality to match. She looks forward to asking you out again, with the plotting to trap you into getting into the Willow big time.

She has some confessing to do, definitely about her rather dark and sordid past and she needs to have a clause in there somehow about Tara, but other than that she's ready to dedicate herself into pursuing you, though if you just want to be friends? She's definitely up for that one too.

When and if you choose to confide in her? She'll keep your secret and help you deal with it in anyway you want to. Be that regular heart-to-hearts, chocolate binging or just a friendly hug and a cup of coffee. She wants to be your friend, and she's hoping for more.
