OKAY NO SO he's definitely one of her closest friends here at this point, and a lot of that is who he is - he's friendly and hardworking and helpful, cares about his friends, which are all things she admires, respects, and likes. Another thing that's important to her is that somehow, he seems completely dependable in that she honestly can't imagine him going home. Part of that is admittedly illogical, because she's known people that died back home who have left the Port too, but ~*~hope~*~
