Jesse is so in love with Lisbeth. As in, he would be proposing to her if he wasn't 95% sure that would scare her away forever. She was one of the first people he got close to here in the Port, which elevated her from fuckbuddy to family pretty quickly, and now he just can't imagine his life without her. She's a safe place for him. He can be himself completely and he knows she won't judge him for it. At the same time, he takes advantage of that. She enables all of his bad behavior, from the drugs to the crime. I mean, they're literally partners-in-crime. She doesn't hold him back from making terrible decisions - which scares him. He looks back at things like their retaliation against the hunters and thinks, "Oh my god, what did we do?" They get up to trouble together, which probably won't change since they're both so supportive of each other's bad choices. God, but he does trust her and adore her and looks up to her so much as this brilliant, strong, beautiful partner and lover. He'd die for her and he'd kill for her.
