Lisbeth has feelings for Jesse she never though she'd have for someone else. This isn't even on the same level of what she felt for Mikael because, and she won't admit it, she sees herself having a future with him in this super fucked up place. Lisbeth thinks it's the perfect place for them because they're both fucked up, even if she doesn't know the extent of Jesse's home life. She likes their pretty much domestic partnership. She never thought she'd enjoy going to work (sometimes) and coming home to someone. He still respects her independence at the same time, which is a huge bonus for her. But there's also that insecurity she has that he'll stop loving her or stop wanting her around because of how messed up she is. She knows she's not easy and she's thankful for his patience with her. She feels bad that she let him relapse and she's mad at herself for not really being strong for the both of them. But she has hope, which isn't something she has often, that this time it'll work.

Lisbeth recognizes that they both bring out the worst in each other, but she thinks that's why they work. People need to watch out for them.
