Jesse is so in love with Lisbeth. As in, he would be proposing to her if he wasn't 95% sure that would scare her away forever. She was one of the first people he got close to here in the Port, which elevated her from fuckbuddy to family pretty quickly, and now he just can't imagine his life without her. She's a safe place for him. He can be himself completely and he knows she won't judge him for it. At the same time, he takes advantage of that. She enables all of his bad behavior, from the drugs to the crime. I mean, they're literally partners-in-crime. She doesn't hold him back from making terrible decisions - which scares him. He looks back at things like their retaliation against the hunters and thinks, "Oh my god, what did we do?" They get up to trouble together, which probably won't change since they're both so supportive of each other's bad choices. God, but he does trust her and adore her and looks up to her so much as this brilliant, strong, beautiful partner and lover. He'd die for her and he'd kill for her.

Alice was such a shock for Jesse. Honestly, he thought he was in so much trouble when he ran into her at the club. The whole knowing his future thing makes him super uncomfortable, since she probably knows the shit he'll get up to. But she ended up being such fun company - and of course he loves an assertive girl who calls him up just for sex. The vampire thing was really unnerving at first but he's gotten over it since she keeps asking him to take it away when they're together. Now she's just a great party buddy. He wouldn't trust her with all his secrets yet, but he likes spending time with her.

John is a problem. Jesse didn't actually hate him before, when it was just about Mary. He only had suspicions that the guy was abusive. He could understand the anger about the affair. All of that made sense to him and he could sympathize, even if he was on the receiving end of John's animosity. But bringing the kids into it? That was personal. Jesse actually hates John right now. Not because he's wrong, but because he's right, and Jesse knows it. He knows he shouldn't be around kids and that being near them will literally get them killed - has gotten them killed. But Jesse doesn't want to hear how bad he is for the people he loves. He's barely holding on to his morality and fighting to do the right thing when everything in the world seems to be telling him to give up on goodness. So John essentially embodies this feeling Jesse has: "You don't belong here. You're the bad guy and there's nothing you can do about it."

Nill makes Jesse hate his job. Seriously. He got into the business to make money off rich corporate assholes, not to take advantage of sweet little girls. So he pretty much hates himself for arming her. He gets through it by telling himself she's just protecting herself, but he's pretty sure she's up to some bad shit, and he feels so guilty for helping her and making a massive profit off her. That aside, he thinks she's just the kindest person and she must be gentle at heart but really terrified of something if she's picking up all these dangerous powers. He can't imagine there's any animosity in her. He wishes he could do something more for her, too. It really touches him every time she's concerned for him, especially since she can read his mind and knows what a scumbag he is.

Jesse thinks Joe is a pretty awesome dude! Not someone he would open up to emotionally - at least, not yet - but all laid-back and easy to be around and not judgmental. Jesse likes people who don't judge him, especially when they've heard him say some pretty shady things like Joe has. He feels a kinship with Joe, just a sense that they have similar views and experiences, even if they haven't talked much about it. He gets the sense that, like him, Joe's willing to do the dirty work when it comes to protecting the Newcomer community. So he admires that. But he can't help feeling like he's corrupting Joe a little when they discuss violent matters... Maybe it's the age difference.

Sam is a complete sucker. Jesse couldn't believe the guy hired him in the first place, and Sam just keeps putting up with his shit, and Jesse doesn't know what to make of that beyond: "Wow, what an idiot." Really, he just doesn't know what to make of an authority figure who immediately sides with him in an argument and doesn't berate him for being a junkie. I mean, he knows he deserves to be yelled at or something, and Sam doesn't even do that much. It's like Sam trusts him. What's the deal with that? It makes Sam one of his favorite people, actually, but he doesn't quite know how to behave around the guy because he doesn't want to screw up what they've got going. So he hides a lot from Sam and probably will continue to do so until he learns more about Sam's own past. Also? It's really weird how hot Sam was in woman form. Jesse would totally have hit that. How confusing.

Mary: another woman Jesse's completely in love with. At first she just seemed like a hot MILF but it turns out she's badass, too, so that completely ensnared him. He's pretty sure she doesn't love John and he's actually afraid she's trapped in the relationship, out of guilt or for some other reason, and that makes him all the more protective of her. He wants to make her life okay. Even if that means she isn't with him. Actually, he'd probably turn her away if she ever wanted to really be with him, because he's not good for Mary and Mary's too good for him. She deserves stability and peace. But, god, he will do anything else for her. The sex, the power, whatever she wants from him - it's hers. He won't stay away from her just because John ordered him to, but if she ever told him to get out of her life? He'd do that for her. He just wants to give her whatever she needs.

Kurt seems like a really sweet kid. (And he's totally helping Jesse get over his mild case of homophobia.) Jesse feels bad for being so harsh with him when they were planning their attack on the hunters... especially since Kurt was 100% right about the whole thing. He finds Kurt naive but that's something he likes about Kurt and he wouldn't want to tear down the kid's innocence, which is something he at least feels like he came close to doing while justifying all that violence. He'd rather see Kurt hold onto that hope for peace. And, as with all kids, Jesse will always protect him if given the chance. (Yes, Kurt is still a kid to him.)

The thing about Jesse and bloody vengeance is that it always sounds like a good idea to him, but when he's face with the reality of someone's death - even an enemy's - he's deeply disturbed by it. So when it comes to the anonymous killer, he's both grateful and upset. It's good that all those hunters won't be able to hurt anyone else. It's bad that they had to die in the first place, and in such brutal ways. Jesse can't really judge, though. He's killed people, too, and he knows he funded part of this project through Lisbeth. He's an accomplice in the whole thing, even if that scares him. As for Claire himself, he strikes Jesse as a typical customer and Jesse's not going to think too much about how that power will go to use.

Basically: Deadpool, you were awesome in the comics but in real life you're kind of irritating. There was a little bit of internal fanboying that got pretty quickly wiped out by Jesse's usual distaste for, you know, killing lots of people. But Jesse's kind of glad to be on his good side, and when they've worked together, it's gone pretty well. Jesse doesn't trust him worth shit with personal stuff, but at least if he's paying the guy enough, he'll do what needs doing. So that's cool, from one kind-of-villain to another. He's pretty confident he can always call Deadpool in for a job and it won't end badly for him.

Jesse acts like he hates Yosuke, but he doesn't. Not even a little, actually. He considers Yosuke his friend - and a pretty good one, since Yosuke's the one who brought Jane to him. There's a lot that he can't stand about Yosuke, though, like his constant judgmentality about the drugs and the whole one-sided competition to win Lisbeth's heart (which Jesse considers his already, so he was really insulted by this guy moving in on her). He sees a lot of himself in Yosuke, which threatens him because Yosuke's younger and has fucked up less and probably has a way brighter future. So he can completely see this guy eventually swooping in to take everything he loves away from him. But not yet, thankfully. Anyway, he's entrusted a lot to Yosuke: Lisbeth, Jane, the secret about his powers, the extent of his addiction... It hurts when Yosuke throws that stuff back in his face, but there's something to be said for allowing Yosuke to see him vulnerable in the first place.
