Allen likes Nill, he does! She's the first person he met here, which leaves an impression, and she's been absurdly nice to him (for seemingly no reason at all); explaining shit, giving him food, trying to help him get a job, offering more food, helping him when he was hurt, also giving him more food... And he, as far as he can tell, has done absolutely nothing in return. SHE'S JUST SUPER NICE. WHAT CAN HE EVEN DO FOR HER?
And then, of course, he finds out that they used to be friends, and that he's forgotten about it. Which is scary to him, forgetting someone like that, and he imagines being forgotten can't be any easier on her. He feels guilty about it! Forgetting someone isn't cool!
THERE ARE MIXED FEELINGS though, because of his canon point. He's cagier than he would normally be, and even if he'd like to become better friends, he's still in the mindset of IMMA (potentially dangerous) FUGITIVE, and he plans to escape the city and never look back... once he can... And it's uncomfortable to him, not knowing how much she knows about him, and the telepathy really doesn't help matters at all there. Good thing she can turn that on and off, though, huh!
And he is very sorry for bleeding all over her, as he said. But he doesn't think a whole lot of that, since that happens to him. Frequently. He was just surprised it meant to so much to her to hear him tell her she helped, since she seems like a pretty competent fighter to him (for a civilian), and why wouldn't he acknowledge she saved him? Silly girl. :C He doesn't know what might've happened to her in the past, but he figures it can't have been anything good.
Oh, also, he's eternally grateful forever to her for covering his hospital bill.
Basically, he's caught between wanting to get to know her better, being freaked out that she already knows him better, and his reluctance to try and make any close friends in Siren's Port yet. And judging her for drinking on the job. They should hang out more.

She will also probably keep lying about the telepathy thing for as long as she knows it bothers him. Oops.
gkjdhkja sob SHE'S STEALTHY ABOUT THE DRINKING ON THE JOB. Or. She tries to be. (I imagine she probably abuses her time stopping ability to get away with it now, but her coffee still smells like alcohol.) No don't look at her shame Allen.
Clearly they definitely need to hang out more.

KEEP ON LYIN'. He may catch on one day!
/JUDGES quietly from the front of the restaurant B(
Yes. Nill should... give him cooking lessons or something. Or they can go shopping for neck ribbons. :> IDK!!!

I would kind of love it if he did, she doesn't get called on it nearly enough.
8C She'll just... pretend not to notice... and dump her drink down the drain
Both of these things sound adorable, I would love for them to happen.

So, Allen, when he was younger, was a vicious little brat who had been forced into self-sufficiency from an incredibly early age.
While, outwardly, he presents himself as an entirely different person these days, it does mean that he feels a certain kinship with other rude, ornery, independent kids. Even if he also finds them obnoxious and difficult to deal with at times... It's relatable. And he sssomehow gets the impression that Franziska may be that kind of brat. He doesn't know why she's that way, but he does really hope she has people in the city who are looking out for her; a kid like that shouldn't be alone.
Hard to say where their CR will take them with only one thread, but he would try to be as kind and patient with her as he can manage. He doesn't know if it'll make her any happier or not, but it can't hurt to try.

They do need to hang out more!
So far, he has a pretty good impression of her. She seems perfectly nice! That monster they faced was freaky, so he can't exactly blame her for being unsettled by it; the fact that she still wanted him to escape along with her is admirable. She also seems to have some useful gear and cool powers under her sleeve, so he's curious what else she can do, and if she's trained for combat at all.
He felt a bit bad that he couldn't help them reach anything better than a warehouse, but, what can ya do.

So I used to have some pretty stellar CR with an Allen...

Hey, we can get CR here! I'd be all for that :>

Yosuke! Or Hanamura, which Allen still thinks is his first name. Allen thinks he's a little bit weird, in a hard-to-pin-down kinda way. Yosuke'll seem perfectly polite one minute, and then say something super blunt the next...
But Allen's cool with it. He thinks Yosuke is a nice fellow, and Allen was quite grateful for the job offer, since he badly needs the money. Aaand I'm assuming Allen's been working as a host at Cat's Eye for a bit now (IF THAT'S COOL I never spoke to you OOCly about it...), and that would make Yosuke his boss, I believe. Probably oodles better than any boss/superior Allen has had prior.
THEY SHOULD HANG OUT MORE. Teach Allen how to be a normal modern teenage boy or something.

Allen thinks Hiccup is an alright guy! He seems a tad jumpy, but it's understandable, under the circumstances. Hiccup's clearly a nice guy, and helpful, so Allen likes him well enough.
He also thinks the whole dragon thing is pretty cool. Even if it's a little freaky...
