Because their one conversation went so well.

Chris just pretty much thinks he's a classic stuck-up sort of guy, and other than that doesn't have an opinion about him. He didn't spend a lot of time jumping to conclusions based on just the one conversation.

I, however, can tell you how pleased that conversation made me. Even though Chris was being snippy and short, I sort of loved doing it. It was kind of refreshing to have something that Chris could be snippy with. I want to figure out ways to make them interact more, actually.

He's really not wrong about Snake being stuck-up. He's pretty much the arrogant-genius-infodump-who's-smarter-than-the-protag of the game, so he's not used to being wrong about things - and pretty used to finding people insufferable.

What sort of things will Chris be up to? They could have a class together or something?

I was thinking that Chris might go to school, yeah. I don't see him really doing well in a job-like setting.

They could even run into each other on campus, any number of things. Or if he had questions about applying, Snake could assist.
