Rampage plotting, take 2. Actually organized this time.
Do you want to get involved with some insanity?
And I do mean literally.
Essentially what's going down is that Sasuke is not very good at dealing with loss. He also has extremely intense emotions and really bad coping skills. The one he uses most often is the 'revenge' thing--deeply hurt him and he will come at you with no mercy.
Another one is depersonalization. It's not his pain and suffering he wants atonement for; it's the suffering of his family. It's not for himself that he attacks the higher-ups who helped make his life a living hell; it's for Itachi.
So what does this all mean?
Sasuke is going to try to blow up the core. Possibly also the nerve centers of AGI and SERO, if he decides they're to blame for the Pull as well. He'll say it's for the sake of the newcomers whose lives have been destroyed and in Warsman's honor, but we all know it's really because he's throwing a hissy fit. Ahem.
No, he's not thinking it through, but that's not something he's used to doing. He'd been on the verge of it when he was brought to the Port, but Itachi and his confusion took a back burner out of necessity--right now, he'll become something like a very, very pissed-off wolverine with a flamethrower and bulletproof tank.
And the schedule of it looks something like this:
February 17-21, he'll be holed up in his apartment, staring at the ceiling in a grieving haze.
February 22-March--Tomorrow (Friday the 22nd), he'll snap out of it. His mind will finish its machinations and land somewhere familiar. A path will open up again and lay itself at his feet, and he will be so energized that he has a direction that he'll take off running. Outwardly, he'll look to be in a good mood, and he'll resume training in explosive displays at the beach and lengthening his patrols as a Titan. He won't tell anyone what is plan is, but he will be putting the pieces together.
Sometime in the vicinity of March: Boom.
Again, details are somewhat TBD, but he will infiltrate as deeply as he can and then put on a show. Subtle is not the aim here--he wants to make a statement and drag as many of the perceived enemy down with him as he can, regardless of whether they actually have anything to do with the core or the government or their workings. There will be noise and there will be fire and there may even be an enormous lighting-based chimera if the weather's right.
Then, because I expect him to lose, he'll either be sold into slavery or picked up for human experimentation or whatever the first person to lay their hands on him decides to do.
So what do I need from you?
-Cannon fodder. I still have to hammer out NPC details with the modly types, but I can assure you there's going to be collateral damage once he gets going. Getting in his way would be enough to set him off.
-People with loyalties one way or another, for interrogation, stealth intel or attack. Especially attack.
-Someone or someones to stop the rampage. He's ridiculously overpowered, but he's also very wasteful with it and tends to spend it all really quickly, so holding out until he exhausts himself might be all that's needed.

-People who have noticed he's dropped off the face of the earth are welcome to come by and try to drag him out of bed??
-ANYTHING ELSE YOU CAN THINK OF.

He'll probably end up attacking if Gohan goes for the "talking it out" route.
Also, they're both Titans--could this be relevant?
no subject
*sigh* No one wants to talk things out. Sadly, he's used to that. But he still tries.
Could be relevant. Gohan would try to handle it the same way regardless, but at the very least they would certainly be able to recognize the feel of each others' power. So they'd know who they were fighting.

Ugh, I like this, the whole "DON'T GO TO THE DARK SIDE WE ARE COMRADES" thing. I'll prod you again once I hammer out more details unless you've got anything else?

He's actually had a "Dark Side" experience himself, ever since I canon-updated him some months ago. Cold, sadistic, torturous violence kind of dark side. So he's even felt it, and will try some understanding. That will ultimately fail and he'll have to whip out a lot of power just to survive.
That's all I've got for now. Whenever you've got more details, fire away!
