Welcome to our May plotting meme!

1. Post a comment detailing your characters, what kind of plot they have going on, what kind of plot you'd like others to be involved in. If you're looking for new types of CR, post up what kind you'd be interested in?

2. Look at other player's posts, and offer your characters up for CR and involvement in plots you're interested in.

Game Calendar:
This is tentative game plot calendar for the month of APRIL. If you have a plot in the works that you want to bring up now, so everyone can be involved, please mention it below.

If you're plotting ahead for something which will affect a significant number of people, like breaking a sewer main in a Sector, shutting down a frequented location, causing a lot of widespread status effects etc, please let us know early so we can give everyone a quick rundown idea of what's going on when. This is also to help keep from too many plots from stacking up on top of each other.

This isn't something that I think needs mod approval exactly, because it doesn't have wide-ranging effects or anything, just a bit of silliness, but I would like mod feedback on a few details.

Luppi wants to get in on the erotic story market, and his main character is going to be a thinly-veiled Szayel. That is his whole point in writing the series - to embarrass Szayel.

So some of the things I'm wondering: Would it be possible for someone in the city to distribute these stories in ebook format over NV? Would AGI need to be involved as a publisher in any way since Luppi's employed and affiliated with them? How popular could I say the stories become with the general NPC populace?

AGI can and will absolutely publish trash on the erotic story market, and yes they have DLable NV-reader formats. This could be as easily accessibly as any relatively unknown erotic fiction author, if you want it to really catch on as the city's next 50 shades of gray, just slide me a newsfeed blurb so I can slam it up on the list of Port's bestsellers or something.

Thank you! My current thought is that I'll put out a free teaser as an NV post and then make a news feed article for a few days later about its popularity.

I actually have designs on doing something kind of similar to this in the future, but Chuck here is unaffiliated, without the protections of being a Greeter or anything. He'll be using a pen name (probably), but the secrecy won't last long.

My question - so I know what to do when thinking ahead - is would publishing be different for him because he isn't with a company? It isn't erotic trash, if that helps. Okay, so the first book isn't. Shhh.
