A SERO LAB IS GOING BOOM.

Ok, so does anyone remember when Gabriel was kidnapped by Szayel and held SERO (Jinx busted him out) a long while back?

Ok, this prompted a idea in my head and I poked Chris.



Seems some doctor or lab tech was naughty naughty, and spirited away samples. Due to complications and SERO not understanding what they are dealing with a lot of genetic tampering had to go into make stable samples - which have been discovered by Kevin during his contract with SERO. Kevin told Magneto, and for several months now, Magneto has had Kevin doing some poking.

Sometime after midnight on May 11th, they are going to attempt an recognizance raid on the building, located on Sector 2, several blocks from SERO's main labs. And it's going to fail horribly. During their breaking in, they are going to overhear the Void and a couple of the guards discussing killing "some teleporting Newcomer piece of shit" who "blew up a lab". Given Griffin is missing and Mags helped him clean up his injuries after that went badly, he's going to figure out SERO is responsible for Griffin's disappearance. (Anna, Ella, Sam, Fred are the people he's going to inform - more on that in a second.)

Our two heroes are going to get caught and come very close to dying before Mags manages to kill the Void and pray for help. This will end in a literal rain of fire at roughly 0200 as kiddos? The Archangel Michael is angry.

In fact, SERO is going to run a story about the building being an off-site facility used in experimental cloning of skin and other tissues - not true - and that there was an "emergency" that night requiring the post-Darkness call in of janitorial staff. Kevin and half the causalities will be explained away are being the crew, with "former SERO associative and Newcomer Michael Xavier" acting as chaperone for Kevin as it was after Darkness. (Mags briefly held SERO association to spy on something and claimed their Syngery experiments violated his moral code and resigned - only to join up under a different name.) A few, like Daedalus and Emma, know he was working under a different name, but not a different face. Total causalities will be listed at twenty. Mags, in fact, is going to allow SERO to report him dead. Marvelites at the HoA, Michael, Lucifer, Walter, Anna, Uhonana he'll contact from a separate NV - he'll rig his own to be off-line. Ella, Sam, and Fred will get a text message about SERO and Griffin just prior, as if he had a deadman's switch on it.

Forgot to say! Michael and Lucifer are going shapeshifted!

SERO Bounty Hunters:

Mags and Kevin will have private, SERO published only bounties placed on their heads, as will anyone who helps them, even if they are unknown! So any SERO people who want to get in on the bounty hunting, PLEASE SPEAK UP. At this time, I don't plan on having Mags caught by them and kept by SERO but I am totally up for him being hunted, cornered, and captured so long as he can escape! Michael and Lucifer's identities won't be known, but there will be a description of the faces they worn going in. You'll have to talk to Cat, Xae, and Vil about their plans for Kevin, Michael, and Lucifer.

Those police and investigator types:
One - Mags doesn't have a legal reason to be acting as guardian for Kevin. In fact, Jubilee still holds legal proxy, meaning he cannon be acting as guardian, even though SERO tried to spin it that way. He works for SERO under the name 'Jacó Ribiero' and has a PO Box where his SERO stuff goes. But there are some in SERO who know it's Michael Xavier/Magneto. If you want your kid to know or figure that out, poke me. The official story is that there is was a gas leak which was ignited by a member of the janitorial staff who lost control of her fire powers. Not true! The fire is going to have burned unnaturally hot, there will be no remains of anything organic in the building. There was also far too much power and far too much security going into the building for SERO's story to be true. The building will have been using more power daily than the hospital ICU uses in three, security was far too tight, including a kill signal used to disable phones and NV's inside and within a meter of the building. And it's only been used for the last three months - until then, it was an unused warehouse.

Other Angels/Gods:
ALL Y'ALL ARE FREE TO GO "MIKEY! LUCI! THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING!" either by showing up or checking in. From what Xae has said, Michael will be having a chat with the siblings but HEY LET'S HAVE SOME FUN HERE.

No really, anyone else want in on this?
COME AT US BRO. Speak up! Your pup have supersenses and would over hear/smell/feel something and you want in? SPEAK UP. You want yours to see the fire? COME ON IN. You have strong feelings re: SERO and want to know what ties Magneto has to them? THIS IS THE TIME. Your character would sense all the death that's going on? YO. Hi! Anyone, seriously, if you want in, LET US KNOW.

So um. Yeah. Vil and Xae might be slow to respond to this post, but Cat and I will be around.

Due to apps and who is being apped, there is some flexibility trying to be built into this, so final details probably won't be nailed down until we see what's up with that.

I'm putting up my current characters so far. If Ellen gets in, she will have Thoughts about this.

Kevin: Is getting shot, with a through and through (in the right side, out the left) with a .45 The right side wound will be pretty small. The left side will be a mess and will look like half his side was taken out. He will almost be dying, but then (Xae/Vil correct me if I'm wrong) healed enough not to die and THEN taken to the Archangel Pad and allowed to recover for a little while. (Frau will be getting a call from him a couple days after and asked to watch Mimsy the day before.)

Byakuya: Because this is an actual ARCHANGEL raining down HEAVEN fire, Byakuya is going to get knocked for a loop. He's going to be at home, but in deep bankai-meditation with Senbonzakura out back, guarded by shields. They are going to shatter and he is going to look like he went five rounds with George Foreman wearing spiked knuckles. He will be alright, but his reiatsu is going to go nuts until he can drag it back in. (If Misty or Violet want to get in on this? I'm totally up for it.)

Jubilee: Before this whole SERO thing goes down, she's going to get injured. Not badly, but on Sunday May 6th, she'll be pulling her shoulder doing gymnastics. Then, a couple days later, she's going to hurt her knee/leg running from something in the Darkness. Again, she will not be hurt BADLY but she will be injured enough to not be in on the raid.

Once the fire rains down, she's going to FLIP HER SHIT and start screaming for Michael/Lucifer to get some damned answers and to find out if Magneto is alive (And I mean she will be crying/hysterical and on her knees. She will NOT be the confident leader she normally is; she's going to be a scared CHILD). Once they tell her that he's with them and alive, she's going to lock herself in the Danger Room and announce to the network - looking like hell - that Magneto is dead.

Mercy: Mercy will sense the magic and change into a coyote and be hiding under Anna's bed. NO ONE NEEDS HER OKAY?

Kevin: Due to his powers and being freaked out, will be dropped off in one of the various safe houses the brothers have set up so he has space. Mags, regardless, will be calling Uhonana about him the next day so that someone can watch over him.

And if it's just Michael and Lucifer, yes healed enough to not die. If Isabelle's Zach app is processed by then...that's the flexibility part. I think she's traveling today so she should be around later (I tried to get this up yesterday but hahahahhaha. Migraine.).

Jubilee: Mags will be getting a hold of her, but probably not until the next day. One, he needs his other other NV. And stuff.

Michael will heal Kevin enough so that he doesn't die because HE'S NOT FEELING ALL THAT GENEROUS but he will be grateful enough not to let one of the people who risked his life for this die. Then after the whole thing, like Komix said, Michael will drop him off at one of their safehouses so Kevin can have his space away from the angels and other people while he heals.

From what we planned, they are going to meet once more - more so, Mags needs to now with John dead - and he'll give Walter *some* idea of what's going on. Just before the SERO thing goes down, he'll send Walter a message that recon has started, will check in once he's finished and a code.

And...then BOOM.

He'll get a hold of Walter within 48 hrs of his death being announced from a different NV with the same code to let him know he's actually still alive and in hiding.

...so however you want to do that meeting?

She totally can! No bodies will be recovered, they'll all be ash, but if she digs into SERO's stuff, she'll find that information up there. I'm also killing one of my NPC's so there will be information about her (and the creepy creepy creepiness that is her!) but if you want Lois to find more I can PM stuff to you.

As I said, the Angelbros are going in shapshifted so they won't match themselves.

Basically let me know what you want her to find out and I'll get it to you! (Hell, I'm even cool with her finding out Mags isn't dead, so long as he gets to pull it off for a month or so!)

Mmm. Logically, Emma might be involved in recognizance, but most likely not likely physically on site, which means her involvement can be moderate to none depending on what psishielding goes up when things start going wrong.
