How's My Driving: Con-crit & Pos-crit!

This post is for providing Constructive AND Positive feedback for fellow players regarding how they play their characters in Siren's Pull.

Constructive criticism should be just that - please avoid bashing or being rude. If you have critique for a characterization, please support it as much as possible and offer as much help as you can to the player. Remember - the point of the HMD Meme is to help fellow players, not to discourage or insult them. This goes for both giving and receiving critique.

Positive feedback is a genuine compliment or other positive aspects of how that character is played. Please avoid empty praises or general fangirling/fanboying, and try to give a viable reason that you're complimenting the fellow player - well thought out compliments always mean more, after all!

If anyone notices anything going wrong on this meme, please get hold of a mod via IM, PM, or email and let us know right away so we can deal with it appropriately.

He's going to lead an investigation into the Church of Jenova once they start to look suspect over the guilt sickness until he falls ill himself, and then he's leaving it to a crack team. His fellow Hellsing operatives and future master surprised him with a cake on his birthday before the incident, so it's been rather up and down for him this past month.

I'll be honest and admit that he wasn't the Dave I paid too much attention to during my first read of Homestuck, but after reading how you play him, I've found a new appreciation for him as not just "another Dave" but his own character. He's got a distinct voice that you are very consistent with, and I have enjoyed every minute of the threads we've done. Keep being awesome! But I don't think that will be a problem. :::;)

Jesse nearly got his brains picked through by Sylar, but saved himself by accidentally relieving the serial killer of his telekinesis at the last minute. He later put two and two together, when Mary suggested he might have a Null ability and then Lisbeth informed him that her powers had somehow swapped from fire-breathing to... telekinesis. Jesse's now taken to practicing this power on drug addicts around town, particularly those who owe him money. He's also been somewhat reclusive, afraid to touch people because he can't control his power, and also shaken by the encounter with Sylar, John Winchester's apparent suicide, and Sam Merlotte's violent breakdown at work. On the bright side, he met Rue and practically adopted her the very same day.

Shikamaru is completely sober now, free from the symptoms of V withdrawal but still paying attention to any changes in his behavior that might suggest he's transforming into a ghoul or something like it. He has otherwise been keeping away from stressors that might send him into a relapse - which includes the newly arrived shinobi from his homeland. Most of the month was spent playing guitar and finally decorating the apartment he's shared with Uryuu since Christmas. He resumed working as Edgeworth's assistant, as well, and spent a good deal of time scolding several people for discussing their legal affairs publicly on the network.

Jesse with kids is one of my favourite things on the show, so much so that Jesse and Rue make me squee in all sorts of embarassing ways. I love love Jesse and he was so kind and patient with Rue, I was wibbling all over the place. He's going to be awesome big brother/dad to her and they will do the cutest things together.

Our thread is short so far, but I've really enjoyed it! Thanks for tagging in. It's harder to do with mute characters, right? I think you've handled it well so far there.

The only thing you might want to do to clear up the problem you mentioned above is to find some way to let people know that she isn't actually speaking in person/over the network. Maybe by having her bark instead, or making a point of the fact she's tapping keys to reply or something during a post? I'm sure you'll think of lots of ways. And Yosuke will totally scratch Ammy's ears for her anytime.

So Larry had to deal with surges of envy and lust (of the G-rated variety) and after that it's mostly been smooth sailing for him - sure, he had to deal with Lieselotte suddenly turning up at his house looking for someone, and he'll be following Wolf's trial until he's called to be a witness, and there's the portrait competition he couldn't pass up - but these coming days are about to get even more interesting. Larry is going to catch the guilt bug from Manfred and try to take care of everyone he knows since he won't be too sick, but that may change when he inadvertently plays a role in the Joker's escape.
