Freaky Friday Event & Bounty Hunting Update
Good evening, SP! RW-mod here, bringing you a couple updates!
- As stated in the original plot post, the Freaky Friday Event begins...today! Or the morning of July 18th, rather, so be on the lookout for the kick-off of some whacky shenanigans!
I'd also like to announce that, starting with the Second Newcomer Hunt (which is slated to happen at the end of this month), we will be changing the way we do sign-ups for plots with limited space. Due to player concerns about the limited time frame during which sign-ups occur, we will be changing over to a randomized system. Sign-ups will be open to everyone for a certain period of time (likely a day or so, perhaps more), and after they close, participants will be chosen at random with something like RNG. The reason for this is we want to open up these "slot plots" to as much as the player base as possible and try to be fair to those who operate on a timezone outside the US.
Also, out of consideration for this very issue, I may either extend the plot itself or add a few slots, depending on how things go. If not, rest assured that there will be another Freaky Friday-esque event in the future, so anyone who didn't get to participate this time around will have the chance to at a later date.
- On another note, I'm happy to announce that the Bounty Hunting Page is now up-to-date! I've also tweaked Deathstroke's IC Contact Page so things should be a little clearer on that front as well.
In addition, since the NPC "mugshots" on the bounty hunting page are a little sparse at the moment, I would like to encourage everyone to submit NPC bounties if you have the time or inclination! The form for submissions is here; if you need an example to look at, the mugshots already up on the bounty hunting page are a good frame of reference. Also, if your character is a bounty hunter, please do make a note of it!
