Fame: who wants to live forever?
THIS IS THE PLOT OF A KILLER, BELLA. B|
Welcome to the Fame mini-plot, children. It all starts with one man and ten thousandbottles of vodka visions.
You see, the Core going cattywompus turned Chuck's prophetic dreams backwards. He started seeing the past- of people in the Port.
What does this mean for you? Why, it means you get to be famous, my friends. You see, Chuck tends to write his visions and sell them as novels. The book he's writing now is called Darkness People and will be a book of short stories about Newcomers.
If you sign up for this, Chuck will have had a vision about a snippet of their lives here in Siren's Port, and write a short story about it. It doesn't have to be something recent- it could be from years back, or only a few months, so long as it's interesting or poignant enough to merit being included. The whole point of Chuck writing the book is that he wants to humanize the Newcomer image to the general public, so I'd like the stories to stick to kind of universal things- moments and vignettes the natives could at least partially relate to.

In general terms, I'd love a few stories about kids or teenagers and a few stories about weakness, death, regret, or people leaving- and the rest will be an assortment. I'd like to focus on relationships (romantic or otherwise) with stories that showcase the characters' humanity.I'd kill for a chapter about loved ones coming back without their memories. All the stories need to be set in Siren's Port, though they can weave some context about canon into the writing, if it helps convey the message better.
If you want to be a part of this, just comment here with a description of the story he'd be telling, or a link to a past thread if you're down with that. Please specify whether you want their name changed or left out or not.
AN IMPORTANT NOTE: Seeing a vision does NOT give Chuck an all-access pass into their life. He doesn't have to have context for what he sees or suddenly know all their secrets. He also won't necessarily recognize someone from his visions if he meets them IRL. I'm not trying to godmode anyone over here.
EDIT: Depending on how much interest there is in this, I probably won't be able to use everyone. He may write more stuff in the future, though, so there's that. :3
EDIT 2 ELECTRIC BOOGALOO: The book is getting published soon, so I'd appreciate things that took place in mid-June at the latest. It can be from many months or years ago!
