The most immediate deep conversation 1st impressions- but hit me.

All she really sees is a thoughtful and intelligent person, with a cynical side that sort of reminds her of Shukaido, the doctor who created the vaccine she believes she was injected with, and which failed to protect her from the disease.

Ahhhhh thoughtful/cynical. It is sort of awful, to be so young and also so jaded.

Pretty much. Still, it's hard not to be jaded when you went to school with Shion. Or if you were in charge of anything important in Romdeau. For what it's worth, Shu was a great afternoon tea buddy.

Addendum; not sure what to make of all this enthusiasm about making god/human hybrids.
