Ah, Ahiru. You are a very sweet natured young lady, and you always strive to make others feel better. You are like family to me, similar to a niece, though much nicer then Azula. Don't think so little of yourself, you are an important person to many around here. I hope you will learn to have more confidence in yourself, and take into consideration that your happiness brings about great joy in others. Never be afraid to love, it is the greatest thing.

Ah, Mary. I think you put a lot on your shoulders that you don't necessarily have to. You can spread the burden around to those who love and care about you. I have grown fond of you, and I hope that you will be able to be happy here. You will make your own path, but I will be around should you need me.

Oh, and about your training.

Bending has its origins in the heart and soul, you must create for yourself a place of peace and serenity if you hope to master your abilities. You have a long path ahead, but I am confident your training will yield results gradually.

I worry about you. I am not sure what you are doing exactly, but I would prefer you do something that simply makes you happy. There are things which a person must do, I understand, but I fear for your safety. Don't be afraid to make friends, there are many good people out there. You should come visit me and have tea more often, and enjoy the outside. Being cooped up in your room all day can't be good for you.

You are a senior to me, and I respect you immensely. Not simply for the great service your race did within my own world, but also for your continued dedication to justice here. Your decision to turn yourself in was a difficult one, but a brave and honourable one. It is nice to have someone to speak with who appreciates old age, and also enjoys music and tea. I have come to think of you as a friend.

Iroh feels that Yosuke is a person who needs a lot of help and guidance. He seems to understand some basic manners and surface things, but is missing some very fundamental things about life. You also tend to only listen to half of what he says, and usually the less important halves of things. He recognizes that there is a certain amount of passion and drive behind Yosuke, but feels he isn't channelling that drive properly. It seems like getting through to you is two steps forward and one step back, but he will keep at it.
