Chuck is still a sort-of mystery to Sam. Back home, it was a lot of linefacing and side-eying at the guy, mostly because of the bizarre experience of having someone write your (horrible) life story in a series of books. For the whole world to read. And for one high-strung girl to obsess over. ANYWAY.

He's gotten to see another side of Chuck lately, which has been good and progressive for their manlationship. From their conversations over his past time in the Port, to the putting up graffiti, he's shifted his view of the guy. It's more of an actual friendship now, something that he's come to cherish. After all, it's not Chuck's fault he's a prophet, right? So. They've got a lot in common, since they both deal with pesky destiny things. And he knows that Chuck's actually a good guy, and he's come to rely on and appreciate his advice.
