Whyyyyy you do this?

Okay, Byakuya has gained a grudging respect for Nel. Not just because of Gohan, but that's part of it. The other part is that if half of what goes on on the Network happens as Las Noches? She's got her hands full enough with Luppi and Szayel.

He would never admit it. Why? Because she's still an Arrancar, and he will never get over that prejudice - a lot of which extends from Aizen's betrayal - but the grudging respect is there. It's part of why he's willing to stay on his side of the line as it were.

LOL. Nel is glad for their unofficial arrangement to stay out of each other's way, since it seems to be working well enough. I saw that he was nearby when Szayel and Luppi released and started scrapping - so he'd be aware that Nel just flared her reiatsu at them and got them to go back to an unreleased state.

Nel...is also thoroughly confused by Hattie's crush on Byakuya. Her friendship with Hattie adds a whole new dimension of awkward to their tentative arrangement. XD

Bya actually understands Hattie's infatuation with him. (The man knows he's pretty, okay?)

But, if he knew Nel and Hattie were friends? That would add an entire new dimension of "OF COURSE" to it. :D

LOL. Nel doesn't actually know how awful Hattie really is to Ella, but she's talked to her a little about what she's noticed, which Hattie pretends to listen to and then ignores because she doesn't like it. Hilariously enough, Nel is occasionally a positive influence on Hattie.
