Welcome to our July plotting meme!

1. Post a comment detailing your characters, what kind of plot they have going on, what kind of plot you'd like others to be involved in. If you're looking for new types of CR, post up what kind you'd be interested in?

2. Look at other player's posts, and offer your characters up for CR and involvement in plots you're interested in.

3. Discuss. FORM EPIC PLOT AND PLANNED CHARACTER INTERACTIONS.

Game Calendar:
This is tentative game plot calendar for the month of JULY. If you have a plot in the works that you want to bring up now, so everyone can be involved, please mention it below.

If you're plotting ahead for something which will affect a significant number of people, like breaking a sewer main in a Sector, shutting down a frequented location, causing a lot of widespread status effects etc, please let us know early so we can give everyone a quick rundown idea of what's going on when. This is also to help keep from too many plots from stacking up on top of each other.

How To Fill It Out

Power Information: Can convince people for around ten to fifteen seconds that whatever he says is true.
Work Information: Manager of Imperial Finance, an AGI-affiliated loan shark business.
Other Information: Yakuza by name, yakuza by nature. Is a charming man with an eye for cold hard cash and a seedy deal or two who knows all about these things.

I Am Looking For:

+ AGI FRIENDS- Mr. Social Climber would love to meet you...
+ GENERAL NETWORKING- ... but even if you aren't AGI, he wants to know who you are if you seem remotely interesting or powerful.
+ MONEY-LENDING SHENANIGANS- Do you want to take out a loan or get a job with Tonegawa? We can work something out.

She might be joining AGI in a ditch effort to save a friend who gets taken. She miiiiiiight want to take out a loan with Tonegawa to pay for that, and then she can be at his service to get the loan paid off too.

Awesome, I can totally do that too! I just dropped Amy a note in the thread below about how loans work with Tonegawa, but yes. No rush in deciding!

I missed the poker game and I am so sorry about that =_= If there's ever another one, I will definitely throw Raul in there! Or Mr. Gold. And speaking of him, what would someone do in regards to getting a loan from Tonegawa, and what are the risks?

Nooo, it's fine! ♥ You were pretty busy with Block Party stuff, iirc. BUT YES getting a loan! Essentially, you'd have to contact Tonegawa and work out a contract. After that, unless the contract was super-short term or you wanted it otherwise, he'd probably leave the debtor alone for a month's grace or so before starting to expect money back. If the money doesn't come back regularly or as quickly as he'd like, he'll start to send out his boys to drop 'helpful' reminders- they'll turn up at the debtor's house or work and ring at all hours. The longer it takes, the worse it gets, possibly leading up to making good on threats against the debtor or their property.

<333 Mr. Gold will probably be taking out a loan. You don't have to be affiliated to get one, right?

Eeexcellent or not. And nope! He'll just be a lot less flexible on the deal and jack up the interest rate if he can.

OH AND BEFORE I FORGET, if you'd prefer, we can totally handwave the contract meeting.

Oh, okay! Let's do that, and then we can figure out what the whole loan thing would be. So he doesn't have to worry about paying on time >.>

No problem. How much did he want to borrow/ how long did you want this to last?

He'd want to update the shop a little, so... maybe around 50k to 60k? And at least for six months, since it'll take awhile for that to happen.

OKAY SO. For that, he'll be throwing on a pretty hefty monthly rolling/ compound interest rate- he'll start at around 20%, but Mr. Gold is welcome to haggle it down from there. If we don't include the grace period and assume he got the interest rate down to, like... 15-17% (I'm assuming he's pretty persuasive!) he'll end up owing around 120-130k by the end of a 6 month period. Is this all making sense so far/ do you want to fudge things? I'm totally flexible if it's too harsh for you!

So much money ahhhhhhh D: That sounds pretty good to me, actually! It'll be interesting to try to get all of that money. Is there any kind of payment plan or something? He might be a little worried about getting it all in the time period.

sob yakuza interest rates. They're absolutely killer. I can totally ease it up if you want- like, drop the interest rate considerably- especially since it's such a large amount of money. He can also freeze the interest rate at some point down the line too, in the spirit of generosity!

BUT YEAH. He'll be expecting money repayments: it doesn't have to be all within six months, but whenever you're ready for it or if Mr. Gold starts to fall behind he'll start piling on the pressure to get the money in.

Okay! Mr. Gold should be able to start repaying by the end of the month? And then we can go through that.
