JULY PLOTTING MEME

Welcome to our July plotting meme!

1. Post a comment detailing your characters, what kind of plot they have going on, what kind of plot you'd like others to be involved in. If you're looking for new types of CR, post up what kind you'd be interested in?

2. Look at other player's posts, and offer your characters up for CR and involvement in plots you're interested in.

3. Discuss. FORM EPIC PLOT AND PLANNED CHARACTER INTERACTIONS.

Game Calendar:
This is tentative game plot calendar for the month of JULY. If you have a plot in the works that you want to bring up now, so everyone can be involved, please mention it below.

If you're plotting ahead for something which will affect a significant number of people, like breaking a sewer main in a Sector, shutting down a frequented location, causing a lot of widespread status effects etc, please let us know early so we can give everyone a quick rundown idea of what's going on when. This is also to help keep from too many plots from stacking up on top of each other.

Feel free to ADD or REMOVE anything you see fit, and remember that these forms are optional. Fill out as little or as much information as you want, though the more you give people to work with the better.

Power Information: As described in the permissions post, Jake's power is to see the past of objects and people with a touch. I can't use his power much without volunteers, so, if you want Jake to meet your character at some point and are okay with him seeing even a bit of your character's past, please hit the permission post up!
Work Information: He works at the SPPD as a homicide detective.
Living Information: He lives at a small apartment with Diegodot and Maya and Pearl probably visits a lot too. He sleeps on the couch.
Other Information: He's getting kidnapped in the Hunt this week, so, things should get interesting on that front. He'll need some recovery time afterwards too.

I Am Looking For:
~ Anyone who is willing to let Jake see even tiny parts of their past with his power. (He will likely be using them on accident.)
~ Anyone who is willing to go visit him in the hospital this month.
~ More cop CR!
~ More cute little girl/boy CR so Jake can be an awkward older brother type.

ALSO Kaiji's not actually involved in the Hunt but it's something that'll hit uncomfortably close to home for him so he'd definitely go and visit Jake in hospital afterwards if that's cool?

That's totally cool, just don't let the nurses try to give him any more tapioca pudding. He hates it. :|

Also he's going to pretend he's not hurt at all and try to do dumb shit, so, may help to also tell him to stop that. XD

I have a log posted for him HERE if you want little Ahiru to go visit him! Or, we can say he posted to the network and they can have a private chat or something. Either works. If you want to wait until he gets the lawsuit running, that'll be later in June.

Jake can see some of Seras' past sometime if he likes and be horrified by it no doubt XD

Yes. This must happen after he recovers! Maybe they can have a little mini-party or something when he's all better.

Did someone call for cuteness? That ability to see the past of people sounds mighty interesting. Can you see the past of someone if said person doesn't actually remember their past? If so, we really do need to get to know one another so my darling little thing here can get to know herself. Even if not, there are still plenty of interesting bits of her past that she DOES remember to see. <3

Actually that's up to you! If you want him to actually see things that your character(s) don't remember themselves, it's possible for that to happen. If you don't, then he doesn't get to. It is all player determined what I can mess with and can't mess with!

Well, I have been sort of looking for a way for this character to learn about herself. She has an interesting little backstory. In her world, she was a criminal. But she has no memory of WHEN she took up that lifestyle. It is just all she knows. It might make for some interesting dramatics if they came to know each other only for Jake to discover she lived her life on the other side of the law.

..Plus, she's cute! You can forgive a few assassinations and a bit of burglary because of that, right?

Was, as in, is no longer? If that's the case, she's probably fine. Jake hasn't gotten to the extent of murder or anything, but, he did some criminal activities right before he was taken, too. In fact, he was in prison when he was brought here to the Port.

While he does make it a point to uphold the law, technically, if she's not doing anything like that in the Port it's not against the law anymore. :) So! That should still give you ample opportunity to learn about your little one's past while still keeping Jake's sanity in check.

Well, she hasn't broken any laws YET. She's been mostly a good girl. I make no guarantees that it will stay that way...in fact there is a good chance that it will not stay that way forever. At least not without people to show her that there is more to life then what she knows. And so far, the majority of her memories aren't exactly warm and fluffy.

We need to do more stuff with Jake and Celes.

I also have a cute little boy who's being hunted in this plot, Jake. Wanna try and protect the kidlet only to have him wind up protecting you by the end? And then there can be awkward older brothering forever.

Also, it's totally cool with me if Jake ends up using his power on either of them. And I'm sure Celes would come visit him at the hospital. And so would Gohan, as long as he knows who he is.

Yes, that would be awesome! He's currently in the hospital if you want to go visit him. I assume he alerted his bosses where he was.

And if you'd like backtags, I'd be happy for Jake to meet Gohan and be all defensive, only to be rescued by a little kid. It would be wonderful.

If you'd fill out the form for both of them, that'd be great. It doesn't have to be too detailed - you can just say "all their history is fair game" or something. Or, you can make it more detailed about what he can and can't see for both of them, if you'd like!

Totally cool with backtags. They could possibly meet in the forest area, after Gohan has been healed by Kurt?
