more on the Siren's Port City Slamfest
OKAY GUYS so this is the current (hilariously inept looking I am not good graph) line-up for how the tournament is likely to play out.
I tried to base it around who was most likely to actually win their fights, but there’s always room for mixing things up and switching people around, especially in terms of NPCs- who, incidentally, all have short descriptions right over here. If you’d rather have a different NPC, just let me know so I can jiggle things around. This is also where I’d like to know if you want to play out or hand-wave your NPC fight! Since I’m likely to be the one doing it, I’d really appreciate a heads up before we get started. Go ahead and use this post to plan out how you want your fights to go between yourselves!
Just as a reminder, the log for the tournament itself will go up on or a little earlier than the 27th and will be set from the 27th to the 29th, with each 'stage' set on a different day. As always, we'd love to see friends, family and spectators come and watch!
On a fluffier note! This is going to go up on the news feed at some point over the next few days as a televised draw where the first round of fights are publically announced. I’ll be writing up an article/ short description of the proceedings for it, and I’d love it if anyone wanted to pitch in interview quotes or Things That Happened on the show- for example, if you want your character to be miraculously voted Most Popular With Male Fans or accidentally get into a slanging match with another competitor. This isn’t compulsory at all, and also feel free to be as serious or silly as you want. ♥

Fluff-wise I think Claire could do with chatting back to Mr. Taylor. We can work out a description for that! >( He's going to be quite happy to play up the whole bad boy criminal thing for effect. At least to an extent - it might not be quite up to the TV crew's standards of black knight character. I this it'd be kind of funny if he got edited to seem rougher: interview questions about censored so that when asked about Ginger "She's a hard-working dame" becomes "She's a BEEEEPing dame" etc IDK WHAT DO YOU THINK

AND HAHA YES that'd totally work. Maybe they could go for a shit-stirring don't-trust-that-bastard gangster type angle with him? Like wow I had no idea you cussed that much Claire this is a new side to you. Something like an out-of-context misquote with a cut to an array of pissed-off faces and an interviewer commenting on how he's definitely feeling cocky!!! I hope it isn't his downfall!!

Okay so apart from accidental lewd comments about Ginger or whatever... you know what I don't know what the acceptable normal standard for trash talk is in order to write quotes in which Claire can break them/ be edited to seem like he was breaking them. "Taylor's gonna be leaving here in a body bag"? I'm so ignorant of all fighting shows except Robot Wars...
and I am going to handwave the fight, I think. I'm having a lot of trouble tagging atm so I want to focus on Warsy <3

It can get pretty crazy in terms of trash-talk! Exceptions can definitely be made in Claire's case because of his run in with the police, though- some sort of edited-in reference to his record phrased in trash talk would definitely raise a few hackles. ALTERNATIVELY he could get really personal!
